Vendor FAQ
How much does a Rack cost? The most important question for every vendor! A space including your table and with room for up to two racks is $100 for the day, giving you your own little shopping area!
Are there any other fees? There are no other fees! Entry to the market is completely free, and we do not take a cut of any of your sales!
What can we sell? Calgary Rack Sale focuses on clothing and accessories. All pieces of clothing, including shoes, can be sold. Jewellery, glasses and clothing accessories are also encouraged.
How much do we sell our clothes for? Clothing prices vary. If you are looking to downsize and want some fast cash, keep your prices lower and stick to the bin system. Looking to make a solid margin on your curated clothing, bring a bit less and hang them on your racks. There is no right or wrong answer, as long as you take pride in your space. All clothing should have individual price tags or bins should be very clearly marked.
What kind of space am I working with? Your space is approximately 6 feet by 4 feet. Racks can not be longer than 6 feet, ensuring the racks do not infringe on the customers walkways.
IMPORTANT: Vendors supply their own Racks
Can we choose which space we get? To avoid any issues, spaces are completely assigned at random. We work with an organic floor plan, meaning we assign you a table and space, and you work with your neighbours for the optimum space and traffic flow.
What do you mean by Decorating our space? Decorating your space is MANDATORY, this is not our grandmas consignment market. Every Vendor at Clothing Fling is looking to create an experience, and with a room full of vendors with different and interesting booths, our Market becomes eclectic and exciting for the shopper!
Ideas for decorating include table clothes, plants, battery powered lights, mirrors, etc…
Please Note: Space do not include outlets, all lighting must be batter powered.
Are there change rooms? Calgary Rack Sale offers two large private washrooms for individuals to utilize if they choose instead.
Does Calgary Rack Sale offer Security? To keep prices down, Calgary Rack Sale does not provide security. If a shopper requests to try on a piece of clothing, we recommend vendors ask for a piece of ID from the shopper. Calgary Rack Sale is not responsible for any items that may go missing.

All spots are first come first serve
Space is $100 for the day.
There are no refunds for cancellations, no shows or bad weather. Refunds are made if the market is cancelled for reasons outside our control, minus whatever was spent for marketing up to that point.
